You shall not die.
You shall not beg to eat.
You shall not be ashamed.
You shall not be cursed.
You shall not cry over loved ones.
You shall not be mocked.
You shall not be a victim of hire killers.
You shall not be a victim of accidents.
You shall not be sorrowful.
BUT,
You shall be great.
You shall be fruitful.
You shall be victorious.
You shall be celebrated.
You shall be successful.
You shall be favoured.
You shall be blessed in abundance.
You shall be prosperous.
You shall have joy unspeakable.
You shall have peace beyond limits.

The Abuja Regional Manager of the Trustfund
Pension Plc, Mr. Maurice Ogar, says the
company has recorded 560,000 pension fund
contributors.
Ogar spoke at the Trustfund Retirees
Customer Forum in Abuja.
He said an arrangement of programmed
withdrawal of funds would make it possible for
the firm to pay arrears of the monthly pension
of a contributor a month after his retirement.
According to him, programmed withdrawal
means the periodic payment of funds from the
retirees' saving accounts on the basis of an
expected life span.
He said that the assets from the retirees'
funds held in custody by the Pension Fund
Custodian were managed in consonance with
the guidelines provided by the National
Pension Commission.
Ogar said while the period for the
programmed withdrawal was 18 years, the
next-of-kin of a contributor would be paid the
balance in the event of death.
He said, "Pension fund contributors' figure
under the Trust Funds Plc has hit 560,000.
And with the programmed withdrawal, we pay
arrears of a client's monthly pension from the
month after he or she retires.
"Assets of retirees' funds are held in custody
by Pension Fund Custodians and are managed
in line with regulatory guidelines provided by
the National Pension Commission.
"With the programmed withdrawal, there is
the possibility of additional lump sum or
pension increase and the guarantee period for
programmed withdrawal is 18 years. In the
event of death, the next-of-kin is paid the
total balance in the beneficiaries' RSA."
Ogar, who warned retirees of moves by some
life insurance companies to lure them into
buying an annuity life insurance policy, said
that the policy of programmed withdrawal had
more benefits than any of such insurance
policies.
He noted that some insurance firms were
exploiting some provisions of the Pension
Reform Act, 2004, to advertise the annuity
life insurance policy to contributors.
He stated further under the policy of
programmed withdrawal, while withdrawals
were made, the balance of the retirees'
accounts were invested and the contributors
given the opportunity to know the balance of
their accounts.

TCN blames power rationing on vandals:

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN)
has blamed the recent nationwide power
rationing on vandalism of the gas pipeline,
supplying gas to the Okpai Power Plant in
Delta.
TCN General Manager, Public Affairs, Mrs
Seun Olagunju, on Sunday in Abuja explained
that there had been about 450MW reduction
in electricity generation since the vandalism on
Saturday and that this would last till 26
November, when repair work would be
completed.
It said that all relevant stakeholders were
currently working hard on the repair of the
vandalised plant which that had also been shut
down.
"The repair work is expected to be completed
within three days and Okpai Power Plant will
expectedly resume generation on Nov. 26," it
said.
The TCN appealed to electricity consumers
nationwide to bear with the temporary
inconvenience, pleading with them to help
government in protecting TCN installations.
"TCN regrets inconveniences to the Federal
Government and our highly esteemed
electricity consumers nationwide. We enjoin
members of the public to work with the
government in protecting installations and
facilities meant for our socio-economic
development," it said.
The TCN, was incorporated in November,
2005. It emerged from the defunct National
Electric Power Authority as a product of the
merger of the Transmission and Operations
sectors on April 1, 2004.
Being one of the 18 unbundled Business Units
under the Power Holding Company of Nigeria,
the company was issued a transmission licence
on July 1, 2006.
TCN's licenced activities include electricity
transmission, system operation and electricity
trading.

How To Love Your Enemies By Rev Martin Luther King Jr.

After the terrible ordeal I went through
earlier this year in the hands of loved ones, I
sought for ways to have peace with myself and
them. So far, it has been futile. But yesterday,
the daily verse from the Bible site I read was
about forgiving our enemies.
''But I say unto you which hear, Love your
enemies, do good to them which hate you,
Bless them that curse you, and pray for
them which despitefully use you'' - Luke
6:27.
I was dumbfounded by that verse of the
Scripture. For a while, I couldn't think
straight. If the Lord had not rescued me from
the hands of those people, I probably would be
dead meat by now. How is it then that the Lord
commanded us to do this? - maybe he wants us
to just want him fighting ALL our battles.
Then, I typed the words: ''how to love your
enemies'' into google search engine, and
several sites popped out - as usual. But I
picked this particular one, because after
reading through (it's very long but interesting)
, I got some direction on how to go about it.
And it was a sermon on the topic by the
famous American Baptist Pastor, Martin
Luther King. Now on a second thought, I
decided to share with folks on this board.
Happy reading - if you can!
I found there's an audio recording of the
sermon too - so you can play that back, if you
want to listen to it.

How To Prevent Leg Cramp While Driving.

Your body frame, sitting posture, steering,
foot pedals, and seat position matters a lot
when driving. For maximum safety and
comfortable driving position, it is
recommended that you give a space of at least
25cm from your body to steering wheel which
contains an Airbag, your legs should be able to
touch the pedals comfortably but not tightly
cramped underneath the dashboard in the
driver's footwell. Always sit upright and well
into the seat back of your car. Don't slouch or
sit on the edge of your seat, don't recline your
seat far backwards, don't adjust your seat
too close to the dashboard/steering or too far
in a manner that negatively affects your
sitting position/posture.
You can also adjust your seat height, seat
bottom recline angle, seat thigh/calf length,
seat back recline angle, lumber support angle,
head rest length, and angle, distance from
seat to steering, steering tilt, and telescope
angle, pedal angle and depth etc to
comfortable positions/angles which suits ur
posture, body size, and driving patterns. If
possible, you can buy after market seat
boosters (check your car's owners manual
first before purchasing), you can also relax
your feet, break your driving and take some
rests especially when You're driving for long
periods. If your car's cockpit is too tightly
cramped or your frame is too big for your car,
I will advice you buy a bigger car. And if your
feet can't touch the pedals even after you've
adjusted the afore mentioned adjustables, I
recommend you should get a smaller car.

Who Is A Man

Who is a MAN? A MAN is the most beautiful
part of God's creation who starts compromising
at a very tender age. He sacrifices his
chocolates for his sister. He sacrifices his
dreams just for the smile on his parents' face.
He sacrifices his full youth for his wife and
children by working late at night without
complaining. He builds their future by taking
loans from banks and repaying them for a
lifetime. He struggles a lot and still has to bear
scolding from his mother, wife and boss, Men
are not usually celebrated but they are the most
important part of a woman's life and women
cannot do without them. Please respect every
man in your life because you will never know
what he has sacrificed for u. Share this write up
to every man to make him smile and every woman
to realize his worth. Thank God for men

Lagos Driver Goes Wild, Takes Off His Clothes to Escape Arrest

Lagos Driver Goes Wild, Takes Off His
Clothes to Escape Arrest
There was drama at Palmgrove Bus Stop in
Lagos State, on Monday when a commercial
bus driver stripped to avoid being arrested by
officials of the Lagos State Traffic
Management Authority. The LASTMA
officials had blocked five different
commercial buses for indiscriminately taking
passengers by the side of the road.
Passengers in the four vehicles were asked to
alight, as officials of the traffic agency took
over the wheels of the impounded vehicles. But
something happened when the driver, an
elderly man, who drove the fifth bus suddenly
went inside his bus and brought out a bowl.
According to Punch, a fetid odour emanating
from the bowl polluted the morning air. The
LASTMA officers, policemen and commuters
ran for cover. But one of the officials came
back and stood his ground, wielding a baton
and insisting that the man must follow them.
When it became obvious that the odour
strategy failed, the driver began pulling off
his clothes, prostrating by the front tyres of
the vehicle and rolling on the floor.
A crowd formed around the area, with some of
the bystanders capturing the scene with their
camera phones. One of the officials was heard
telling his colleagues to " leave him alone and
let him go." However, they took close shots of
the vehicle number plate, and the driver,
before taking other seized vehicles away.
Our correspondent spoke with a resident who
said he knew the old man well. He said, "That is
how the man usually does. His bus plies Lagos
Island everyday and he picks his passengers
from that spot."
The source said the bus was owned by a
military officer.
When Punch correspondent approached the old
man for comment, he refused to talk. When
confronted with the allegation of being a
serial offender, he said, "Look, whoever wants
to talk should talk. Everybody has his problems
and I have mine."

I Love You

This is an old joke but quite funny...enjoy!
There was a group of women, who gathered at a
seminar on how to live in a loving relationship
with their husbands.
The women were asked, 'How many of you love
your husbands?'
All the women raised their hands.
Then they were asked, 'When was the last time
you told your husband you loved him?'
Some women answered today, some yesterday,
some didn't remember..
The women were then told to take their cell
phones and send the following text to their
husbands: I love you, sweetheart.
Then the women were told to exchange phones
and read the responses text messages.
Here are some of the replies:
1. Eh, mother of my children, are you sick?
2. What now? Did you crash the car again?
3. I don't understand what you mean?
4. What did you do now? I won't forgive you this
time!!!
5. ?!?
6. Don't beat about the bush, just tell me how
much you need?
7. Am I dreaming? ???????
8. If you don't tell me who this message is
actually for, you will die today...!!!

Adejuyigbe, on Wednesday advocated a law to
punish indecently dressed youths in Ekiti.
Mrs. Adejuyigbe, who made the call at a law
week organised by female lawyers in the state,
also stressed the need to establish a dress
code which would be backed by legislation.
She said that the legislation would empower
law enforcement agents to sanction anyone
found guilty of indecent dressing.
"Any girl or lady dressed indecently should be
flogged and arrested by the police, the Oba's
wife said.
She called on women to monitor their children
and ward's dressing at home before they leave
the house.
In her contribution at the occasion, wife of
the Oluyin of Iyin-Ekiti, Olori Josephine
Ajakaye, encouraged ladies to be guided by
the fear God in their dressing.
"The way women or ladies are dressed at any
point in time, tends to influence the way
people relate to them."
"So, be guided by the fear of God in your
dressing,'' Mrs Ajakaye said.

5 Deadly Mistakes Undergraduates Make

5 DEADLY MISTAKES EVERY
UNDERGRADUATE MAKE UNKNOWINGLY
BY: IRIAEVHO PRECIOUS
you initiative
Every day we come across a lot of people,
mostly young individuals with vision for a
brighter tomorrow. But when you sit with them
and ask the deeper questions as to why they
make some decisions, they seem to have no
clue to what they have done. Analyzing the
situation, I came across some blunder that
they have committed on the long run, amongst
them are five listed below:
THINKING INSIDE THE BOX
As a statement it sounds very okay, but its
contextual meaning in the educational terrain,
seems bizarre. Most students today do not
actually know what is happening around them,
as all they seem concerned about is classes,
reading textbooks and materials given to them
by their respective lecturers… so in the long
run, they get good grades and they are
promoted to the next level. Does it actually
end there?
Many have forgotten that school is just an eye
opener to what the real world offers. That is
why today we have graduates with 1st class
and 2nd class with no specific skill and they
complain of not been employed, when they
cannot even open MSWORD with a mouse or
even shutdown a computer. They would go
ahead to blame the witches of their mother's
and father's land for every misfortune when in
the real sense they cannot even hold down a
steady conversation on topics like sports,
politics, music, books… think outside the box
and see what the real world has got to offer.
"School will only sharpen you but your skills
will decorate you"
LEARNING TO WRITE A Curriculum Vitae
MENTALITY
Knowing the entails of writing a very good CV
is not a bad idea in its own sense. But have you
asked yourself what life will be like without
writing a CV? Or is it a bad idea to have people
submitting to you as against you submitting
yours and putting your fate and destiny in
another person hands, when sometimes they
would not even look through it, is that not
touching?.
I believe writing a CV in the long run will
condition your mind that you have to be
employed by a person which is not a bad idea in
its self, but the truth is you will never get a
better shot at life. But not putting all your
effort into writing a CV, will open a window of
opportunity because then your thinking is not
caged and thus, while you think of a person
employing you, you can also think of creating
employment and employing others, a win-win
situation right?.
But come to think of it, the wealthiest and
influential people in the world today never sat
down to write a CV (In doubt? Google is your
friend). So friend, instead use that paper as a
drawing board and sketch the structure of a
perfect business plan with the little you have
and see your little efforts become positively
viral.
"Do not waste time thinking on how to write
a killer and enticing CV, instead waste that
time in thinking how you can make your life
better even with your little resources."
SELF PITY AND REGRETS
The duos are perfect dream assassins. Do not
ever plunge into their arms. For nothing should
you regret where you find yourself, what
course you are studying… or pity yourself for
nothing, because if you do, you will never make
it in life.
Do not sit and compare yourself to your
neighbors who are studying engineering,
medicine, law or what have you, for they do not
guarantee life security. Your security comes
from within, so please overlook the bandwagon
that scorn your course of study and focus on
building a niche for yourself in any sector that
you find yourself.
Look deep and realize what it is you love doing
most and then go ahead to integrate it with
what you are doing now and if you do not make
it in life, doubt my credibility. Life and wealth
is up for grabs to those that are daring, so let
others waste their time in laughter while it
actually becomes your driving force and
motivator.
"Please do not seek admission every year,
but learn a new skill every year"
WRONG COMPANY
You want to be a success, please do not be
found in the wrong side of town.
If you should have friends, I recommend
people who are better and well experienced
than you or you can look for people who are on
the same wavelength with you, be it in
aspirations and driving factors.
Friends can so influence you that I can say
categorically that sometimes whatever you
become is directly an impact from the actions
of the friend you keep. Show me your friend
and I will tell who you are.
Do not mingle with loafers, cultist, jesters,
party captains and lords, smokers and
sniffers… or else by now I think you should
know that your life is taking a headlong fall
into the ocean of destruction.
In short, anyone that cannot add to your life
in any way (physically, spiritually, morally,
technically…) should be BLACKLISTED. There
should be no room for complacency, because
the road is far ahead and any extra baggage
should be dropped.
"The more friends you have, the more fun
you will have. The fewer friend you have,
the fewer your problems!"
NO PLAN
This is the deadliest of all mistakes, because
if you have not set any plans for tomorrow,
brother, this is a free ride to failure, no
hidden charges.
We all join the rat race to higher institutions
and after that what's next? We get hooked up
in life's traffic jam!
The main reason you will fail is when you do not
even have a plan, so study medicine or
guidance and counseling, but without plans, you
are NOTHING!
Learn to set goals and plan on how to achieve
them. Set task and work towards them. Do not
ever think that your parents will always be
there to pay your bills or feel you will always
get free food and rides. That's a big fantasy,
wake up!
Make achievable plans and set structures to
meet them, it might take weeks or months, but
what matters is that you are working towards
something, unlike others who are working
towards nothing.
"He who fails to plan, has definitely
planned to fail"

100 Most Often Mispelled Misspelled Words in English

100 Most Often Mispelled Misspelled Words in English
Here are the 100 words most commonly misspelled ('misspell' is one of them). Dr. Language has provided a one-stop cure for all your spelling ills. Each word has a mnemonic pill with it and, if you swallow it, it will help you to remember how to spell the word. Master the orthography of the words on this page and reduce the time you spend searching dictionaries by 50%. (Use the time you save celebrating in our gameroom.)

A
acceptable - Several words made the list because of the suffix pronounced -êbl but sometimes spelled -ible, sometimes -able. Just remember to accept any table offered to you and you will spell this word OK.
accidentally - It is no accident that the test for adverbs on -ly is whether they come from an adjective on -al ("accidental" in this case). If so, the -al has to be in the spelling. No publical, then publicly.
accommodate - Remember, this word is large enough to accommodate both a double "c" AND a double "m."
acquire - Try to acquire the knowledge that this word and the next began with the prefix ad- but the [d] converts to [c] before [q].
acquit - See the previous discussion.
a lot - Two words! Hopefully, you won't have to allot a lot of time to this problem.
amateur - Amateurs need not be mature: this word ends on the French suffix -eur (the equivalent of English -er).
apparent - A parent need not be apparent but "apparent" must pay the rent, so remember this word always has the rent.
argument - Let's not argue about the loss of this verb's silent [e] before the suffix -ment.
atheist - Lord help you remember that this word comprises the prefix a- "not" + the "god" (also in the-ology) + -ist "one who believes."
B
believe - You must believe that [i] usually comes before [e] except after [c] or when it is pronounced like "a" as "neighbor" and "weigh" or "e" as in "their" and "heir." Also take a look at "foreign" below. (The "i-before-e" rule has more exceptions than words it applies to.)
bellwether - Often misspelled "bellweather." A wether is a gelded ram, chosen to lead the herd (thus his bell) due to the greater likelihood that he will remain at all times ahead of the ewes.
C
calendar - This word has an [e] between two [a]s. The last vowel is [a].
category - This word is not in a category with "catastrophe" even if it sounds like it: the middle letter is [e].
cemetery - Don't let this one bury you: it ends on -ery nary an -ary in it. You already know it starts on [c], of course.
changeable - The verb "change" keeps its [e] here to indicate that the [g] is soft, not hard. (That is also why "judgement" is the correct spelling of this word, no matter what anyone says.)
collectible - Another -ible word. You just have to remember.
column - Silent final [e] is commonplace in English but a silent final [n] is not uncommon, especially after [m].
committed - If you are committed to correct spelling, you will remember that this word doubles its final [t] from "commit" to "committed."
conscience - Don't let misspelling this word weigh on your conscience: [ch] spelled "sc" is unusual but legitimate.
conscientious - Work on your spelling conscientiously and remember this word with [ch] spelled two different ways: "sc" and "ti." English spelling!
conscious - Try to be conscious of the "sc" [ch] sound and all the vowels in this word's ending and i-o-u a note of congratulations.
consensus - The census does not require a consensus, since they are not related.
D
daiquiri - Don't make yourself another daiquiri until you learn how to spell this funny word-the name of a Cuban village.
definite (ly) - This word definitely sounds as though it ends only on -it, but it carries a silent "e" everywhere it goes.
discipline - A little discipline, spelled with the [s] and the [c] will get you to the correct spelling of this one.
drunkenness - You would be surprised how many sober people omit one of the [n]s in this one.
dumbbell - Even smart people forget one of the [b]s in this one. (So be careful who you call one when you write.)
E
embarrass (ment) - This one won't embarrass you if you remember it is large enough for a double [r] AND a double [s].
equipment - This word is misspelled "equiptment" 22,932 times on the web right now.
exhilarate - Remembering that [h] when you spell this word will lift your spirits and if you remember both [a]s, it will be exhilarating!
exceed - Remember that this one is -ceed, not -cede. (To exceed all expectations, master the spellings of this word, "precede" and "supersede" below.)
existence - No word like this one spelled with an [a] is in existence. This word is a menage a quatre of one [i] with three [e]s.
experience - Don't experience the same problem many have with "existence" above in this word: -ence!
F
fiery - The silent "e" on "fire" is also cowardly: it retreats inside the word rather than face the suffix -y.
foreign - Here is one of several words that violate the i-before-e rule. (See "believe" above.)
G
gauge - You must learn to gauge the positioning of the [a] and [u] in this word. Remember, they are in alphabetical order (though not the [e]).
grateful - You should be grateful to know that keeping "great" out of "grateful" is great.
guarantee - This word is not spelled like "warranty" even though they are synonyms.
H
harass - This word is too small for two double letters but don't let it harass you, just keep the [r]s down to one.
height - English reaches the height (not heighth!) of absurdity when it spells "height" and "width" so differently.
hierarchy - The i-before-e rule works here, so what is the problem?
humorous - Humor us and spell this word "humorous": the [r] is so weak, it needs an [o] on both sides to hold it up.
I
ignorance - Don't show your ignorance by spelling this word -ence!
immediate - The immediate thing to remember is that this word has a prefix, in- "not" which becomes [m] before [m] (or [b] or [p]). "Not mediate" means direct which is why "immediately" means "directly."
independent - Please be independent but not in your spelling of this word. It ends on -ent.
indispensable - Knowing that this word ends on -able is indispensable to good writing.
inoculate - This one sounds like a shot in the eye. One [n] the eye is enough.
intelligence - Using two [l]s in this word and ending it on -ence rather than -ance are marks of . . . you guessed it.
its/it's - The apostrophe marks a contraction of "it is." Something that belongs to it is "its."
J
jewelry - Sure, sure, it is made by a jeweler but the last [e] in this case flees the scene like a jewel thief. However, if you prefer British spelling, remember to double the [l]: "jeweller," "jewellery."
judgment - Traditionally, the word has been spelled judgment in all forms of the English language. However, the spelling judgement (with e added) largely replaced judgment in the United Kingdom in a non-legal context. In the context of the law, however, judgment is preferred. This spelling change contrasts with other similar spelling changes made in American English, which were rejected in the UK. In the US at least, judgment is still preferred and judgement is considered incorrect by many American style guides.
K
kernel (colonel) - There is more than a kernel of truth in the claim that all the vowels in this word are [e]s. So why is the military rank (colonel) pronounced identically?
L
leisure - Yet another violator of the i-before-e rule. You can be sure of the spelling of the last syllable but not of the pronunciation.
liaison - Another French word throwing us an orthographical curve: a spare [i], just in case. That's an [s], too, that sounds like a [z].
library - It may be as enjoyable as a berry patch but that isn't the way it is spelled. That first [r] should be pronounced, too.
license - Where does English get the license to use both its letters for the sound [s] in one word?
M
maintenance - The main tenants of this word are "main" and "tenance" even though it comes from the verb "maintain."
maneuver - Man, the price you pay for borrowing from French is high. This one goes back to French main + oeuvre "hand-work," a spelling better retained in the British spelling, "manoeuvre."
medieval - The medieval orthography of English even lays traps for you: everything about the MIDdle Ages is MEDieval or, as the British would write, mediaeval.
memento - Why would something to remind of you of a moment be spelled "memento?" Well, it is.
millennium - Here is another big word, large enough to hold two double consonants, double [l] and double [n].
miniature - Since that [a] is seldom pronounced, it is seldom included in the spelling. This one is a "mini ature;" remember that.
minuscule - Since something minuscule is smaller than a miniature, shouldn't they be spelled similarly? Less than cool, or "minus cule."
mischievous - This mischievous word holds two traps: [i] before [e] and [o] before [u]. Four of the five vowels in English reside here.
misspell - What is more embarrassing than to misspell the name of the problem? Just remember that it is mis + spell and that will spell you the worry about spelling "misspell."
N
neighbor - The word "neighbor" invokes the silent "gh" as well as "ei" sounded as "a" rule. This is fraught with error potential. If you use British spelling, it will cost you another [u]: "neighbour."
noticeable - The [e] is noticeably retained in this word to indicate the [c] is "soft," pronounced like [s]. Without the [e], it would be pronounced "hard," like [k], as in "applicable."
O
occasionally - Writers occasionally tire of doubling so many consonants and omit one, usually one of the [l]s. Don't you ever do it.
occurrence - Remember not only the occurrence of double double consonants in this word, but that the suffix is -ence, not -ance. No reason, just the English language keeping us on our toes.
P
pastime - Since a pastime is something you do to pass the time, you would expect a double [s] here. Well, there is only one. The second [s] was slipped through the cracks in English orthography long ago.
perseverance - All it takes is perseverance and you, too, can be a (near-) perfect speller. The suffix is -ance for no reason at all.
personnel - Funny Story: The assistant Vice-President of Personnel notices that his superior, the VP himself, upon arriving at his desk in the morning opens a small, locked box, smiles, and locks it back again. Some years later when he advanced to that position (inheriting the key), he came to work early one morning to be assured of privacy. Expectantly, he opened the box. In it was a single piece of paper which said: "Two Ns, one L."
playwright - Those who play right are right-players, not playwrights. Well, since they write plays, they should be "play-writes," wright right? Rong Wrong. Remember that a play writer in Old English was called a "play worker" and "wright" is from an old form of "work" (wrought iron, etc.)
possession - Possession possesses more [s]s than a snake.
precede - What follows, succeeds, so what goes before should, what? No, no, no, you are using logic. Nothing confuses English spelling more than common sense. "Succeed" but "precede." Precede combines the Latin words "pre" and "cedere" which means to go before.
principal/principle - The spelling principle to remember here is that the school principal is a prince and a pal (despite appearances)--and the same applies to anything of foremost importance, such as a principal principle. A "principle" is a rule. (Thank you, Meghan Cope, for help on this one.)
privilege - According to the pronunciation (not "pronounciation"!) of this word, that middle vowel could be anything. Remember: two [i]s + two [e]s in that order.
pronunciation - Nouns often differ from the verbs they are derived from. This is one of those. In this case, the pronunciation is different, too, an important clue.
publicly - Let me publicly declare the rule (again): if the adverb comes from an adjective ending on -al, you include that ending in the adverb; if not, as here, you don't.
Q
questionnaire - The French doing it to us again. Double up on the [n]s in this word and don't forget the silent [e]. Maybe someday we will spell it the English way.
R
receive/receipt - I hope you have received the message by now: [i] before [e] except after . . . .
recommend - I would recommend you think of this word as the equivalent of commending all over again: re+commend. That would be recommendable.
referred - Final consonants are often doubled before suffixes (remit: remitted, remitting). However, this rule applies only to accented syllables ending on [l] and [r], e.g. "rebelled," "referred" but "traveled," "buffered" and not containing a diphthong, e.g. "prevailed," "coiled."
reference - Refer to the last mentioned word and also remember to add -ence to the end for the noun.
relevant - The relevant factor here is that the word is not "revelant," "revelent," or even "relevent." [l] before [v] and the suffix -ant.
restaurant - 'Ey, you! Remember, these two words when you spell "restaurant." They are in the middle of it.
rhyme - Actually, "rime" was the correct spelling until 1650. After that, egg-heads began spelling it like "rhythm." Why? No rhyme nor reason other than to make it look like "rhythm."
rhythm - This one was borrowed from Greek (and conveniently never returned) so it is spelled the way we spell words borrowed from Greek and conveniently never returned.
S
schedule - If perfecting your spelling is on your schedule, remember the [sk] is spelled as in "school." (If you use British or Canadian pronunciation, why do you pronounce this word [shedyul] but "school," [skul]? That has always puzzled me.)
separate - How do you separate the [e]s from the [a]s in this word? Simple: the [e]s surround the [a]s.
sergeant - The [a] needed in both syllables of this word has been pushed to the back of the line. Remember that, and the fact that [e] is used in both syllables, and you can write your sergeant without fear of misspelling his rank.
supersede - This word supersedes all others in perversity. This is the only English word based on this stem spelled -sede. Supersede combines the Latin words "super" and "sedere" which means to sit above.
T
their/they're/there - They're all pronounced the same but spelled differently. Possessive is "their" and the contraction of "they are" is "they're." Everywhere else, it is "there."
threshold - This one can push you over the threshold. It looks like a compound "thresh + hold" but it isn't. Two [h]s are enough.
twelfth - Even if you omit the [f] in your pronunciation of this word (which you shouldn't do), it is retained in the spelling.
tyranny - If you are still resisting the tyranny of English orthography at this point, you must face the problem of [y] inside this word, where it shouldn't be. The guy is a "tyrant" and his problem is "tyranny." (Don't forget to double up on the [n]s, too.)
U
until - I will never stop harping on this until this word is spelled with an extra [l] for the last time!
V
vacuum - If your head is not a vacuum, remember that the silent [e] on this one married the [u] and joined him inside the word where they are living happily ever since. Well, the evidence is suggestive but not conclusive. Anyway, spell this word with two [u]s and not like "volume."
WXYZ
weather - Whether you like the weather or not, you have to write the [a] after the [e] when you spell it.
weird - This word is an exception to the rule about [i] before [e] except after...? So, rules can be broken!

History : Apostle Ayo Babalola.

Born April 25, 1904
Ilofa, Nigeria
Died
July 26, 1959 (aged 55)
Nationality
Nigerian
Occupation
Preacher, Prophet
Title
Apostle
Joseph Ayo Babalola (1904-1959) was the
founder of the Christ Apostolic Church,
popularly called Aladura in Nigeria. He was
credited with healing powers.
Life and mission
Babalola was born of Yoruba parents at Ilofa,
Nigeria, and was brought up as an Anglican. He
was registered at an elementary school at
Oto-Awori on Badagry road in 1919. Having
left elementary school, he was employed in the
Public Works Department as a steam roller
operator. On October 11, 1928, while trying to
repair his machine, he heard an audible voice
from the Lord to abandon the job and start
preaching. He then joined Faith Tabernacle in
Lagos, which was related to an American
Pentecostal organization.
In September 1930, Babalola, through the
power of God, raised a dead boy to life. This
divinely kicked off The Great Revival of 1930,
which saw people coming from most parts of
Africa and diaspora without posters and TV
adverts. From then on, with bell and Yoruba
Bible in hand, he toured Yorubaland and
eastern Nigeria, preaching about repentance,
and renunciation of idolatry, the importance
of prayer and fasting, and the power of God to
heal sickness.
In 1930 Faith Tabernacle affiliated with the
British Apostolic Church. Then following a
schism in the Apostolic Church about 1940,
Bablola went with a new independent church,
Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), where he
continued his healing and revivalistic activities
until his death. The CAC regards Babalola as
an apostle and his revival ministry as the
beginning of the church. A CAC retreat center
was built at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State where
Babalola was first called in 1928.
The Christ Apostolic Church has not died along
with Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola in 1959. As
a matter of fact it has grown rapidly over the
years, with many churches under the Christ
Apostolic Church name but each church with a

You can now save battery power and the environment by using SmartWiFi for BlackBerry

Hi,

Use SmartWiFi to switch WiFi off automatically when it is not needed on your BlackBerry. This can save a lot of battery power!

Since I started using SmartWiFi on my BlackBerry I need to charge my battery less frequently. Current SmartWiFi statistics for my device are:

- WiFi was automatically switched on: 0 times
- WiFi was automatically switched off: 0 times
- WiFi was active for: 00:00:00
- WiFi was off for: 00:00:00
Thus, saving battery power during that time.

SmartWiFi extends my battery runtime tremendously and therefore boosts my productivity!

Get it at S4BB Limited Site:

or

Get it on BlackBerry App World:
