Other Ways To Say Better Things

The millionaire mind perspective

Here are 7 Lessons I learnt from a Timeless Book. called "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind": Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth by T. Harv Eker

1. Rich people believe "I create my life." Poor people believe "Life happens to me."
2. Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose.
3. Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich.
4. Rich people think big. Poor people think small.
5. Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles.
6. Rich people admire other rich and successful people. Poor people resent rich and successful people.
7. Rich people associate with positive, successful people. Poor people associate with negative or unsuccessful people

Which of them pickles your mind most?

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

Open Heavens 29 September 2016:-The Sure Refuge

Memorise:
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: The righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Proverbs 18:10

Read: Philippians 2:9-11, (KJV)
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Bible in one year:
Ezekiel 21-22,
Psalms 70

MESSAGE
Refuge is used in the Bible as a reference to a secure shelter or a place of protection from danger or distress. A refuge is a stronghold that is commonly used for retreat, healing and renewal. Ultimately, refuge is a common metaphor for God in the Bible. 2nd Samuel 22:3 says:

"The God of my rock; in him will I trust: He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, My saviour; thou savest me from violence."

In effect, God is our fortress, a strong tower, a rock of defence, our shield, a shade of protection, and a shelter in the time of storm. He is Mighty to deliver, Mighty to save, the Mighty man in battle and the Lord of hosts. What a father does goes a long way in affecting the life of a child. Our Heavenly Father does not only neutralize weapons designed against His children, He also protects them from harm. Here is a story I have shared severally: In the 50's while I was still very young, we had mining activities going on in my village and the roads were very narrow. Nigeria was still under colonial rule then. Normally, white men came in a jeep to collect the gold that the miners got. They were so powerful in those days that the villagers believed that if they killed your child, you have to tell them "thank you" so that you will not be sent to prison; they were dreaded. One day,

my sister and I were returning from the farm when we suddenly heard the sound of a jeep coming at top speed. My sister immediately grabbed my hand and we both jumped out of its way, landing in an empty mine pit. We barely escaped the jeep but before we could heave a sigh of relief, we found ourselves before a snake. Because our Father can preserve lives, I lived to tell the story. In Luke 10:19, God empowered all believers in Christ over snakes, scorpions, power of the enemy, and over demonic agents and all their activities. I prophecy in the Name that is above all other names, God will protect you and defend everything that is yours this season in Jesus' name. Psalms 20:7-8 says;

"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They are brought down and fallen: But we are risen, and stand upright."

The Word of God is trustworthy, reliable and dependable. Whatever you may be passing through, trust in God and call upon His name today, He will give you peace all round.

Prayer Point
Father, thank you for being my hiding place and my refuge, please keep me secure for the rest of my life in Jesus' name.

Place Values Of Numbers

Place Values Of Numbers are used to say the exact position of figures in the numeric table.

In the numeric table, we have ones (units), tens, hundred, thousands etc

Before we can get the place values of given figures, we must first expand the figures

Samples

1. What is the product of the place values of 8 and 9 in 1849

Solution

1849 = 1000 + 800  + 40 + 9

The place values of 8 = 800
The place value of 9 = 9.
The product = 800 * 9 = 7200

2. Divide the place values of 2 by the place value of 4 in 1240
Solution :
1240 = 1000 + 200 +40 +0
The place values of 2=200
The place value of 4 = 40
Division = 200 / 40 = 5
Ans = 5

Class work
1. Sum up the place values of 8 and 4 in 18403

2. Find the difference in the place values of 4 and 9 in 133892

Calculate the product of the place values of 6 and 2 in 16238

Mental Mathematics Calculations Simplified

Mental Calculations - Getting the result fast

Addition of 5
When adding 5 to a digit greater than 5, it is easier to first subtract 5 and then add 10.
For example,

7 + 5 = 12.
Also 7 - 5 = 2; 2 + 10 = 12.

Subtraction of 5
When subtracting 5 from a number ending with a a digit smaller than 5, it is easier to first add 5 and then subtract 10.
For example,

23 - 5 = 18.
Also 23 + 5 = 28; 28 - 10 = 18.

Division by 5
Similarly, it's often more convenient instead to multiply first by 2 and then divide by 10.
For example,

1375/5 = 2750/10 = 275.

Multiplication by 5
It's often more convenient instead of multiplying by 5 to multiply first by 10 and then divide by 2.
For example,

137×5 = 1370/2 = 685.

Division by 5
Similarly, it's often more convenient instead to multiply first by 2 and then divide by 10.
For example,

1375/5 = 2750/10 = 275.

Division/multiplication by 4
Replace either with a repeated operation by 2.
For example,

124/4 = 62/2 = 31. Also,
124×4 = 248×2 = 496.

Division/multiplication by 25
Use operations with 4 instead.
For example,

37×25 = 3700/4 = 1850/2 = 925.

Division/multiplication by 8
Replace either with a repeated operation by 2.
For example,

124×8 = 248×4 = 496×2 = 992.

Division/multiplication by 125
Use operations with 8 instead.
For example,

37×125 = 37000/8 = 18500/4 = 9250/2 = 4625.

Squaring two digit numbers.

You should memorize the first 25 squares:

 12345678910111213141491625364964811001211441691961516171819202122232425225256289324361400441484529576625

If you forgot an entry.
Say, you want a square of 13. Do this: add 3 (the last digit) to 13 (the number to be squared) to get16 = 13 + 3. Square the last digit: 3² = 9. Appendthe result to the sum: 169.

As another example, find 14². First, as before, add the last digit (4) to the number itself (14) to get 18 = 14 + 4. Next, again as before, square the last digit: 4² = 16. You'd like to append the result (16) to the sum (18) getting 1816 which is clearly too large, for, say, 14 < 20 so that 14² < 20² = 400.What you have to do is append 6 and carry 1 to the previous digit (8) making 14² = 196.

Squares of numbers from 26 through 50.
Let A be such a number. Subtract 25 from A to get x. Subtract x from 25 to get, say, a. ThenA² = a² + 100x. For example, if A = 26, then x = 1and a = 24. Hence

26² = 24² + 100 = 676.

Squares of numbers from 51 through 99.

If A is between 50 and 100, then A = 50 + x. Compute a = 50 - x. Then A² = a² + 200x. For example,

63² = 37² + 200×13 = 1369 + 2600 = 3969.

Any Square.
Assume you want to find 87². Find a simple number nearby - a number whose square could be found relatively easy. In the case of 87 we take 90. To obtain 90, we need to add 3 to 87; so now let's subtract 3 from 87. We are getting 84. Finally,

87² = 90×84 + 3² = 7200 + 360 + 9 = 7569.

Squares Can Be Computed Squentially
In case A is a successor of a number with a known square, you find A⊃ by adding to the latter itself and then A. For example, A = 111 is a successor of a = 110whose square is 12100. Added to this 110 and then 111 to get A²:

111²= 110² + 110 + 111 = 12100 + 221 = 12321.

Squares of numbers that end with 5.
A number that ends in 5 has the form A = 10a + 5, where a has one digit less than A. To find the square A² of A, append 25 to the product a×(a + 1) of a with its successor. For example, compute 115².115 = 11×10 + 5, so that a = 11. First compute11×(11 + 1) = 11×12 = 132 (since 3 = 1 + 2). Next, append 25 to the right of 132 to get 13225!

Product of 10a + b and 10a + c where b + c = 10.
Similar to the squaring of numbers that end with 5:

For example, compute 113×117, where a = 11, b = 3, and c = 7. First compute 11×(11 + 1) = 11×12 = 132 (since3 = 1 + 2). Next, append 21 (= 3×7) to the right of 132 to get 13221!

Product of two one-digit numbers greater than 5.
This is a rule that helps remember a big part of the multiplication table. Assume you forgot the product 7×9. Do this. First find the excess of each of the multiples over 5: it's 2 for 7 (7 - 5 = 2) and 4 for 9 (9 - 5 = 4). Add them up to get 6 = 2 + 4. Now find the complements of these two numbers to 5: it's 3 for 2 (5 - 2 = 3) and 1 for 4(5 - 4 = 1). Remember their product 3 = 3×1. Lastly, combine thus obtained two numbers (6 and 3) as63 = 6×10 + 3.

Product of two 2-digit numbers.

The simplest case is when two numbers are not too far apart and their difference is even, for example, let one be 24 and the other 28. Find their average:(24 + 28)/2 = 26 and half the difference (28 - 24)/2 = 2.Subtract the squares:

28×24 = 26² - 2² = 676 - 4 = 672.

The ancient Babylonian used a similar approach. They calculated the sum and the difference of the two numbers, subtracted their squares and divided the result by four. For example,

 33×32= (65² - 1²)/4  = (4225 - 1)/4  = 4224/4  = 1056.

Product of numbers close to 100.
Say, you have to multiply 94 and 98. Take their differences to 100: 100 - 94 = 6 and 100 - 98 = 2. Note that 94 - 2 = 98 - 6 so that for the next step it is not important which one you use, but you'll need the result: 92. These will be the first two digits of the product. The last two are just 2×6 = 12. Therefore, 94×98 = 9212.

Multiplying by 11.
To multiply a 2-digit number by 11, take the sum of its digits. If it's a single digit number, just write it between the two digits. If the sum is 10 or more, do not forget to carry 1 over.

For example, 34×11 = 374 since 3 + 4 = 7. 47×11 = 517since 4 + 7 = 11.

Faster subtraction.
Subtraction is often faster in two steps instead of one.

For example,

427 - 38 = (427 - 27) - (38 - 27) = 400 - 11 = 389.

A generic advice might be given as "First remove what's easy, next whatever remains". Another example:

1049 - 187 = 1000 - (187 - 49) = 900 - 38 = 862.

Faster addition.
Addition is often faster in two steps instead of one.

For example,

487 + 38 = (487 + 13) + (38 - 13) = 500 + 25 = 525.

A generic advice might be given as "First add what's easy, next whatever remains". Another example:

1049 + 187 = 1100 + (187 - 51) = 1200 + 36 = 1236.

Faster addition, #2.
It's often faster to add a digit at a time starting with higher digits. For example,

583 + 645= 583 + 600 + 40 + 5 = 1183 + 40 + 5 = 1223 + 5 = 1228.

Multipliply, then subtract.
When multiplying by 9, multiply by 10 instead, and then subtract the other number. For example,

23×9 = 230 - 23 = 207.

The same applies to other numbers near those for which multiplication is simplified:

 23×51= 23×50 + 23= 2300/2 + 23= 1150 + 23= 1173.    87×48= 87×50 - 87×2= 8700/2 - 160 - 14= 4350 - 160 - 14= 4190 - 14= 4176.
Multiplication by 9, 99, 999, etc.
There is another way to multiply fast by 9 that has an analogue for multiplication by 99, 999 and all such numbers. Let's start with the multiplication by 9.

To multiply a one digit number a by 9, first subtract 1 and form b = a - 1. Next, subtract b from 9: c = 9 - b. Then just write b and c next to each other:

9a = bc.

For example, find 6×9 (so that a = 6.) First subtract:5 = 6 - 1. Subract the second time: 4 = 9 - 5. Lastly, form the product 6×9 = 54.

Similarly, for a 2-digit a:

bc= 100b + c = 100(a - 1) + (99 - (a - 1)) = 100a - 100 + 100 - a = 99a.

Do try the same derivation for a three digit number. As an example,

543×999= 1000×542 + (999 - 542) = 542457.

Adding a Long List of Numbers
How fast can you calculate the sum

97 + 86 + 83 + 95 + 85 + 70 + 84 + 72 + 77 + 81 + 70 + 85 + 84 + 76 + 92 + 66?

: THE CONSEQUENCES OF SAYING “NO” TO GOD

DAILY INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE 159.

TOPIC : THE CONSEQUENCES OF SAYING "NO" TO GOD

Jonah 1:1-2
The Word of the LORD came to Jonah son of Amittai: "Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before ME." But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish.

The prophet Jonah was referred to by the LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. JESUS said, "As Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." [Matt. 12:40]. Jonah wanted to see Nineveh destroyed. They were the great enemy of the Jewish people. Jonah may have actually seen these cruel, ruthless Ninevites, periodically, coming down into his land and raiding his people.

In the ancient world, the record for the bloodiest and most vicious kinds of cruelty belongs, perhaps, to the Ninevites. They found more incredibly ingenious ways to be cruel than any other nation that has ever lived. They were brutal and godless and sinful -- and Jonah hated them. The one thing that he wanted more than anything else was to see Nineveh destroyed. Yet, when GOD told him to go announce to Nineveh its destruction, he fled to Tarshish.

When Jonah said, "No" to GOD, and attempted to run from GOD'S presence, his actions were all on a downward spiral. He went down to the seaside to buy a ticket to get on a boat to Tarsus; he went down into the boat; he gets thrown overboard and goes down into the sea; and he ends up down in a fish's belly.

What are the consequences of saying "No" to God for us? It will cost us;

1) GOD'S presence - a person can lose the presence and power of GOD on their life when they intentionally disobey what they know to be GOD'S will.;

2) GOD'S Place - we are not in GOD'S will when we are not in GOD'S place. GOD'S place is always a place of service;

3) GOD'S Peace – when Jonah had finally done what GOD had told him to do, there was no peace or satisfaction in his life because Jonah had an attitude problem that began when he first said 'No' to GOD, back in chapter one;

4) GOD'S Purpose - We need to be careful what decisions we make, because they may cost us GOD'S purpose for our life. Being obedience to GOD is doing what HE tells us to do with the right attitude.

You're directly doing these to God anytime you said No to Him.......

Ye call Me Master and obey me not;
Ye call Me Light and see Me not,
Ye call Me Way and walk not;
Ye call Me Life and desire Me not;
Ye call Me wise and follow Me not;
Ye call Me fair and love Me not;
Ye call Me rich and ask Me not;
Ye call Me eternal and seek Me not;
Ye call Me gracious and trust Me not;
Ye call Me noble and serve Me not;
Ye call Me mighty and honor Me not;
Ye call Me just and fear Me not;
If I condemn you, blame me not.

Give Yourself to JESUS;
You don't have much time.
Give yourself to the Master.
HE'LL make your life sublime.
Give yourself to JESUS;
HE'S waiting just for you.
Just put all your trust in HIM.
GOD will take care of you!

May we always have a mind through which CHRIST thinks; a heart through which CHRIST loves; a voice through which CHRIST speaks; a hand through which CHRIST helps; and be a vessel through which CHRIST lives!

HARDCORE TRUTH ABOUT MARRIAGE!!! BY BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO

HARDCORE TRUTH ABOUT MARRIAGE!!! BY BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO
1. There is nothing that threatens the security of a wife than the thought of another woman competing for the attention and affection of her husband. Nothing is more painful. Nothing is more disrespecting. Nothing is more insulting. Nothing is more belittling and degrading.
2. Marriage flourishes when the couple works together as a team; when both husband and wife decide that winning together is more important than keeping score.
Good marriages don't just happen. They are a product of hard work.
3. Your children are watching you and forming lasting opinions on love, commitment, and marriage based on what they see in you. Give them hope. Make them look forward to marriage.
4. Husbands: The reason why other women look attractive is because someone is taking good care of them. Grass is always green where it is watered. Instead of drooling over the green grass on the other side of the fence, work on yours and water it regularly. Any man can admire a beautiful woman, but it takes a true gentleman to make a woman admirable and beautiful.
5. When a husband puts his wife first above everyone and everything except God, it gives his wife the sense of security and honor that every wife hungers for.
6. A successful marriage doesn't require a big house, a perfect spouse, a million dollars or an expensive car. You can have all the above and still have a miserable marriage. A successful marriage requires honesty, undying commitment and selfless love and Jesus at the center of it all.
7. Pray for your spouse every day; in the morning, in the afternoon and at evening. Don't wait until there is a problem. Don't wait until there is an affair. Don't wait until something bad happens. Don't wait until your spouse is tempted. Shield your spouse with prayer and cover your marriage with the fence of prayer.
8. The people you surround yourself with have a lot of influence on your marriage. Friends can build or break your marriage; choose them wisely.
9. One spouse cannot build a marriage alone when the other spouse is committed to destroying it. Marriage works when both husband and wife work together as a team to build their marriage.
10. Don't take your spouse for granted. Don't take advantage of your spouse's meekness and goodness. Don't mistake your spouse's loyalty for desperation. Don't misuse or abuse yours spouse's trust. You may end up regretting after losing someone that meant so much to you.
11. Beware of marital advice from single people. Regardless of how sincere their advice may be, most of it is theoretical and not derived from real life experiences. If you really need Godly advice, seek it from God-fearing, impartial and prayerful mature couples whose resolve has been tested by time and shaped by trials.
12. Dear wife, Don't underestimate the power of the tongue on your marriage. The tongue has the power to crush your marriage or build it up. Don't let the Devil use your tongue to kill your spouse's image, self-confidence and aspirations. Let God use your tongue to build up your marriage and bless and praise your spouse. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Please, send this to the couple's you love so much. God bless you.

Life but a twinkle of the eye

A guy slept off while waiting for his roommate, who
keeps late nights. As he tried turning around on the bed, a huge dark figure with flamy eyes opened his
door, he wanted to scream but all strength was
gone. Was it a dream or vision? He couldn't tell. The figure stared deep into his eyes and handed him a
letter, he opened it.........

Dear Fii,
I couldn't make it home last night because I
died. I thought life after death is an illusion but
I'm here lonely and afraid in pains and in
torments. The torture is unending, I can't explain
it but I'm dying a thousand times in a second.
You never told me this place was for real and
how to avoid it. We grew up together, went to
school together and did everything in common
but you never told me about this new life of yours. I asked you severally and you jokingly pushed it aside. I was a good man with a
charitable heart but that didn't count here. The
angel told me, I was without Christ and my name is
not in the book of life. I asked you even yesterday
morning, what's this born again stuff and you said
you don't want to bore me. I'm in pains, can you
hear the screams, the torments of the great and
the less, I was told it's for eternity.
You betrayed our friendship, you never told me
sex was fornication but you cautioned me
against AIDS, you never told me getting high was
drunkenness, you just told me not to drive, you
never told me lying was sin, all you just said was
don't be caught. I hate you for this....aaaahhh
h.....aaahhhh....aaah I'm dying again here but I'm
alive, the flames keep getting hotter. I wish you
were here to see. You deceived me to the end. If you
had told me about Jesus and salvation I knew I
couldn't be here. I died only a few hours ago, I
was drunk and ran into a pole but it seems I
have been here for years.

Please tell my family
and all our friends about salvation. I'm dying
again but death won't come.
It's me, Francis.

He woke up at about 2:45AM with a banging
headache and his phone started ringing, he picked it up
and what he heard scared him to his
bones...."Hello, Francis is dead".

We are here today but gone tomorrow.
Just who knows where that brother or friend of yours will go when they die.

Share Jesus with someone today. We have all defaulted from the great commission. But it is not too late. Together we can, don't live with the regret of this room mate. Share salvation with your friends, paddies, husbands, wives, colleagues, children, students and all who come into your life. Some are planted in your life for a reason; you may be the key to their salvation. Let's remember that our lives may be the only bible others will ever read unto salvation. Let your light so shine before men...(Math. 5:16)

Today is still another opportunity to tell someone
very dear to you about Jesus Christ  and His
saving grace.
U can copy, edit and paste in group chats.
Jesus is real...

How armed robbers are snatching from unsuspecting people their vehicles nowadays.

*Pls share to other groups*
This is to awaken our security consciousness!!!.
A true life story is told of how armed robbers are snatching from unsuspecting people their vehicles nowadays.
In a wedding party or public gathering, they will meet the MC to make an announcement of a particular car with registration number so so and so, blocking them.
While you go out to move your car, some guys are waiting outside for you with a gun. They know you have the keys of your car.
You are then ordered to ride the car out of the compound with them inside already with you.
Please, Do the following when your vehicle registration number is being called out at a social function :
1) Take your time before going out.
2) Don't go out alone, at least in company of two or more people.
(3) Don't go directly to where the car is parked, at least to confirm from a distance if you are blocking another car truly.
And make sure there is a driver in the blocked car already before you go.
4) Watch your surroundings carefully before approaching the vehicle
Please copy and share even if u don't own a car and save a lot of people.

Just thinking

Assuming after dancing and rejoicing in your new mansion🏠🏡 yesternight, you woke up this morning to rush and catch up with your daily activities as you are doing right now, and  you saw your body still lying
helplessly on the bed. You were shocked, so you
tried calling your partner who was sleeping
next to you and he/she did not hear you mention his/her
name.
You tried to pick up your iphone 6 to call
your (Rev) pastor or relatives and you couldn't pick it up. You tried opening your wardrobe to take off the dollars you hid there and couldn't.
You started crying but no one heard you.
You try touching the gate to go out, but u
penetrated.
You went outside and your house mates were
chatting, but you were not recognised.
After some minutes, you saw your house
neighbours coming out of your room with a severe cry, hitting their hands on your brand new Range Rover Jeep.
All you could hear them saying is"HE IS GONE"  or "SHE IS GONE"
You stood there watching them cry their hearts out in pain💘.
So you asked yourself WHERE EXACTLY AM I
GOING?
Your spirit started crying bitterly, because you
were not prepared to start that journey so
soon.
BRETHREN where exactly do you think you are going if you
stop breathing right now?.
Are you aware of your final destination ?
Remember your creator now because we have a
place to go. So start preparing.
Share to a group. I choose this noble group
to prompt you of eternity and the only Lord
and Saviour- JESUS CHRIST.
HE alone can take you home (HEAVEN). Forward this message to help save a life!

Please Note:  this message is not compulsory to share but do share if you find it worthy because
you might not be able to go round evangelising.
GOD BLESS YOU FOR SHARING!

Your Relationship with God through Jesus

YOUR relationship with God through Jesus Christ is the most important relationship which must not be neglected. Failure in this aspect of your life will affect other relationships.
Sin is a barrier to the smoothness of this friendship, this will cause disagreement. OBEDIENCE brings agreement.
Through God's mercy, your relationship with Him will be smoothened, stable and productive in Jesus name. Good morning.

Excellent Foundation Academy Free Seminar

"Things don't just happen you have to rise up and make it happen"My philosophy

The 3rd Law of Motion states that "to every action there is an equal or opposite reaction." Life give way for #Movers

You have been waiting for days, weeks, months and even for several years, nothings has happen and you are singing this song to console yourself.

Song:

One day, one day, one day e go better, e go better...

Oga/madam! Abeg,Who one day,one day, e go better, song don epp?Take responsibility for your life today.

Until you are bettered nothing get better. Let me shock you.

You can not give what you don't have

We behave in a myopic way or misbehave not because we don't have formal education but because we have refuse to learn, unlearn and relearn

Some of us feels that we have arrived therefore there is nothing to learn again,We know so much yet we do little. #myopic at work

Unfortunately,the day we fail to learn is the day we start to die

Don't forget he/she that feels he has arrived might be left behind

"Things don't really get better with time rather they get worst, if actions are not taking to better your lot".

I write this piece to stimulate you to become active in the pursuit of your life purpose. Life reward people that are action-oriented.

#Movers are world changer
#Movers are history makers
#Movers are trailblazers
#Movers are influencers
#Movers are leaders

Phone Addiction!!! Where do we go from here

Let's be Careful of OUR PHONES📱
👉One of the hardest tasks in this 21st century is for
the youth to spend 30 minutes without touching
their phones!
👉Almost everyone is now a phone addict.
👉It's the last thing you touch before you sleep at
night.
👉It's the first thing you touch when you wake up at
dawn.
👉Some even put on earpiece overnight.
👉Some still wake up at night to download films, but
they can't wake up for prayers.
👉Some are always online chatting.
👉As early as 6am they are online, and they remain
online till midnight.
👉They have thousands of online friends with whom
they chat, but they don't relate with their families at
home.
👉They isolate themselves in their rooms.
👉Some argue till midnight about unnecessary issues
in their various online groups, yet they have a lot of
things they need from God. We go to bed late, and
have no time for God. We sleep and snore!
👉Immediately after prayers , you see people
pressing their phones again, no time to share the
grace! As if all our past and future sins have already
been forgiven!
👉When accidents happen, instead of saving lives,
you see people taking pictures of the victims with
their phones.
👉When a house is on fire, instead of quenching it,
you see people taking pictures so as to be the first to
upload it on social network.
👉When a person loses a loved one😭, instead of
thinking about the funeral issues, the first thing the
person does is to upload the news on social network.
Perhaps for comments!
👉We are so addicted to phones! We even chat when
we are on motorcycles.
👉Some still chat in the exam halls
🙊.
👉Some play games with their phones when they
come to God.
👉Along the road, some keep pressing their phones,
until perhaps they narrowly dodge an accident, or
until a banana peel slips them 😂 😂.
👉Even when we have guests, we still concentrate on
our phones than our guest.
👉Some ignore their spouses because they are
chatting with "mere friends" on Facebook or
Whatsapp!
👉Many are those whose phones have made them
"hypocrites" and "liars".
👉Many are those whose phones are leading them to
hellfire!
👉Because of your phone, you are the last person to
come to God, and you are always the first person to
leave!
🌟 God said, 'Closer and closer to mankind comes
their judgement, yet they don't take heed, and they
turn away'.
🙏
Please educate others. May God reward your efforts.
Amen.

External western influence on Nigerian family life

Nigeria is a country that is located in West Africa with more than one hundred and twenty million people.

  These people are made up of various people with different and diverse ethnic, cultural and religious difference. Yet an individual Nigerian family is influenced by Western culture or religion in the following ways :

1. Language: Most Nigerian families speak English at home which is at the detriment of the various local Indigenous local dialects

2. Food : Most food eaten in Nigeria nowadays are mostly imported. Beverages, cabbages, fried rice, salad, bread are all foreign foods

3. Dressing : many people now wear European dresses. Men wear shirts and trouser while women now wear gown, skirts, and blouses.

4.  Occupation : most of our forefathers were fishermen and farmers but now a days most people want to do white collar jobs. Nobody wants to farm.
5.  Science and Technology : with the advent of radio, television, radio, Internet, blender, boiling ring, freezer. All these gadgets have really really change the way an individual family live in Nigeria

Prostrate Disease. Causes, symptoms, prevention and treatment

The size of the bladder is 40 - 60 cl. A bottle of coke is 50cl. As the bladder stores more urine it can enlarge up to 300cl. An overfilled bladder may leak and this leads to wetting / urinary incontinence. Also the volume may put pressure on the kidney and may lead to kidney damage.
What may likely bring the man to hospital is acute urinary retention. He wakes up one day and he is not able to pass urine.

Everything I have described above is associated with prostate enlargement, technically called benign prostate hyperplasia.

There are other diseases of the prostate like:
1. Prostatitis – inflammation of the prostate
2. Prostate cancer – cancer of the prostate.

This discussion is on prostate enlargement.

I have bad news and good news.

The bad news is that everyman will have prostate enlargement if he lives long enough.
The good news is that there are life style changes that can help the man after 40 to maintain optimum prostate health.

Nutrition
Look at what you eat. 33% of all cancers, according to the US National Cancer Institute is related to what we eat.
Red meat everyday triples your chances of prostate disease. Milk everyday doubles your risk. Not taking fruits / vegetables daily quadruples your risk.

Tomatoes are very good for men. If that is the only thing your wife can present in the evening, eat it with joy. It has loads of lycopene. Lycopene is the most potent natural antioxidant.
Foods that are rich in zinc are also good for men. We recommend pumpkin seeds (ugbogulu).
Zinc is about the most essential element for male sexuality and fertility.

Men need more zinc than women. Every time a man ejaculates he loses 15mg of zinc. Zinc is also important for alcohol metabolism. Your liver needs zinc to metabolize alcohol.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
As men begin to have urinary symptoms associated with prostate enlargement, it is important they look at alcohol consumption. More fluid in means more fluid out.

Drink less. Drink slowly.

EXERCISE
Exercise helps build the muscle tone. Every man should exercise. Men over 40 should avoid high impact exercise like jogging. It puts pressure on the knees. Cycling is bad news for the prostate. We recommend brisk walking.

SITTING
When we sit, two-third of our weight rests on the pelvic bones. Men who sit longer are more prone to prostate symptoms. Do not sit for long hours. Walk around as often as you can. Sit on comfortable chairs. We recommend a divided saddle chair if you must sit long hours.

DRESSING
Men should avoid tight underwear. It impacts circulation around the groin and heats it up a bit. While the physiological temperature is 37 degrees, the groin has an optimal temperature of about 33 degrees. Pant is a no - no for men. Wear boxers.  Wear breathable clothing.

SMOKING
Avoid smoking. It affects blood vessels and impact circulation around the groin.

SEX
REGULAR  SEX IS GOOD FOR THE PROSTATE

Celibates are more prone to prostate illness. While celibacy is a moral decision, it is not a biological adaptation. Your prostate gland is designed to empty its contents regularly.

Thought: when someone shares something of value with you and U benefit from it. You have a moral obligation to share it with others because someone in your friends list might be saved.
GOD BLESS U ALL.
