As This Month Ends Today

As This Month Ends Today....

All your challenges will expire

Funny but Tru

FUNNY BUT TRUE !!!_
*1*. Remember Further Maths (aka _Additional Mathematics_) ???๐Ÿ˜
They warned you that it'd be tough so you committed to listening attentively from the very beginning...๐Ÿ˜œ
*2*. ...things started very well. 2a+8a = 10a. Easy beans๐Ÿ˜€. You are happy๐Ÿคฃ. This thing is not so hard. You are following it. Very happy.
*3*. Then slowly, you don't see any number again, just letters fighting Jackie Chan on the board; Sin 0/Cos 0 = A/Bx find *x*.... ahan☹. You vexed!๐Ÿ˜ก
*4*. You went back to your note, & started thinking, "at what point did I miss it? Why did the teacher eliminate numbers? Why is *"x"* important?"๐Ÿ˜•
*5*. You say ok, may be it is just this part. Then the teacher goes, find *x* if ฮฑ%*¤< + & @%ฮฒ^ = &^^# *x*. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
You ask the teacher, _"please give us a clue Sir"_๐Ÿค—
*6*. In your head๐Ÿค”, you are thinking, "how can you tell me to find *x* when I can't even find all the things surrounding *x*?"๐Ÿ˜ฑ
*7*. At that point, you start to dream about your blessed and assured *"F"* ๐Ÿ˜ขin WAEC. To avoid it, you look for a friend to explain better to you.
*8*. This time, you didn't even look๐Ÿ‘€ for the girl ๐Ÿ‘ฑ‍♀you were tripping for to come teach you because this time...u really want to learn✍
*9*. You remember your parents, the school fees and the *" F*" you were already dreaming about๐Ÿ˜ด. You didn't fool yourself. You looked for your guy๐Ÿšถ.
*10*. You even bought that expensive Further Maths text book. That one where after page one, everything else is written in tongues๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜.
*11*. You bought rechargeable lamp๐Ÿ”ฆ๐Ÿ’ก. Called your mum to bring more provisions๐ŸŸ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿง€ because "I now read at night ๐Ÿ™‡‍♀and I get hungry"
*12*. You meant business. You want to know how ordinary numbers suddenly changed to Chinese language before your eyes๐Ÿ™Š
*13*. Your friend is even kind. He started with BODMAS. He makes you understand that nothing in Further Maths is beyond BODMAS. You are happy๐Ÿ˜…. Easy.๐Ÿ˜ฌ
*14*. After two hours of learning, you got everything๐Ÿค“. Your friend should be a teacher you thought๐Ÿ‘ป. He teaches better. Wow!๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿ‘ You feel really good!
*15*. Back in the hostel alone, you picked two easy "problems," did wuru wuru ๐Ÿ˜‡to the answer. You checked the back for answer. Yay! You gorrit!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ
*16*. Back in class, the teacher is not even writing letters that you know again๐Ÿ˜’☹, he has gone Greek on you. Tetha, Beta, Alpha...argh!๐Ÿค
*17*. As if that wasn't evil (even) enough, he combines them, "tan _tetha_" "cos _tetha_" and he draws one snake that look like _*S*_ like this.......!!!๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ
*18*. That was the point the *"F"* in your dream๐Ÿ˜ถ became flesh and formed tears on your face๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. You must call mummy. You know that๐Ÿ“ฑ.
*19*. Then something in you said๐Ÿค”, don't call๐Ÿ“ฑ her. She will think you are an _*Olodo*๐Ÿ˜ง_ if you don't do "Science class". So you didn't bother.
*20*. You simply just gave yourself brain๐Ÿคก๐Ÿค . Ran faster๐Ÿƒ than _light_ to see what was happening in *Art Class*๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿซ
*21*. They were teaching them _"the Macpherson constitution"_ and what made the _"Clifford constitution"_ different.
*22*. Then they spoke about the _"Motion for Independence"_ and the _"1979 constitution."_ You felt at home.๐Ÿ˜
*23*. Next day, you take the Further Maths text books and all the big books like it, over to CMS. *Sell them all !!!* ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜
LOLzzz ๐Ÿ˜€!
*24*. This is a true life story of real people who were really brilliant but had no business in "Science Class" but *"had"* to be there... just to form _Alagbarรก_๐Ÿ’ช
*25*. Society insists; smart people are in Science Class. The others join Art Class. This is tragic and really this ought to stop soon!
*26*. There are no dumb people. You are smart at what you thrive at and most of us thrive at something...
*27*. That I can't thrive at what you thrive that doesn't make me dumb. Usain Bolt will outrun ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ‍♀LeBron James on the track. But in B'Ball⛹⛹‍♀๐Ÿ€? ..James wins !
*28*. To this day, some of you still judge yourself based on what your friends are achieving๐Ÿฅ‡๐ŸŽ–๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿฅ‰. Please, judge yourself against yourself alone!๐ŸŽญ
.......
*30*. Don't make your life like football⚽ leagues where you check on the results of others to feel
better๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Parents please help our children be that which they will excel at๐Ÿ˜€.

Happy Birthday Mr Taiwo Bello

Don't Give Up The Fight

Get up stand up....

Don't give up the fight...

If you're going through a tough time at this moment in your life, I pray that this post truly ministers to you and encourages you. I want to start by reassuring you that, "God is here." Remember, His Word promises that He will never leave you, nor forsake you. So that means that He is with you in the struggle.

The reality of life (even for us as Christian women) is that hard times hit our lives. Think about it for a second. One day everything can be fine and the next day, we can find ourselves struggling with some issue, trial, illness, or sin that we need to overcome. As the new saying puts it, "The struggle is real!" Yet, how do we handle the struggles that strike our lives?

I believe that we have to handle them by going straight to the throne room of God through prayer and His Word. That may seem simple, but it truly is the way to jumpstart working through your struggles. Alongside that, you need the encouragement of others (like what I'm doing right now). These days, you can also request prayer through social media and if you've noticed, the body of Christ will step up all across the globe to pray for you.

But let's back to the Word. Because I know that when struggles strike, honestly, the Word of God will be the most powerful thing that helps you get through when no one else is around. It will not only be life-giving, but life-strengthening. So hold onto it when you're going through your struggles and allow it to work.

With that being said, I want to encourage you to search the Scriptures on whatever your struggle is that you're dealing with right now and then meditate on them. In other words, do a Google search or search your Bible index for verses directly related to the problem you're facing. Then place them on index cards or in your journal and read over them, speak them to yourself, and let God's Word encourage and strengthen you.

For instance, if you're going through any of these struggles below, grab these verses and begin allowing them to take root in your life to strengthen you. Here goes…

Fear – "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." ~John 14:27

Illness – "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am the Lord your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand." ~Isaiah 41:10

Trials – "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." ~James 1:12

Broken-hearted – "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed." ~Psalm 34:18

Loss – "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." ~Matthew 5:4

Finances – "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4:19

Tough Assignments – "So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." ~1 Corinthians 15:58

Sin – "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." ~1 John 1:9

Wherever you are on this subject, know that God is with you in your struggles, sis. He is right there ready to help you in your time of need, reassurance, trouble, or deliverance. So talk to Him, and allow others to lift you up in prayer. But don't forget about the powerful effect that comes straight to you through the Word of God. Let Him work and strengthen your faith and life. This is how to handle your struggles.

Topic: THE POWER OF RESURRECTION
Text: Phil. 3:10, Colo. 1:16
Minister: Dr. D.K Olukoya (G.O MFM
Worldwide)
There is a power that can wake up dead virtues.
- There is a power that can reconstruct a scattered life.
- There is a power that can bring into life dead businesses and programmes.
- There is a power that can manufacture new organs and put it inside the body.
- There is a power that can carry out spiritual surgery and reorganization.
- There is a power that can bring the power of God.
- There is a power that can wake up the dead body.
- There is a power that can remove every plantation.
- There is a power that can recover every of your good materials burned to become ONE.
- There is a power that can unite various fragments of your body and turn them to one.
- There is a power that can bring together everything that has been destroyed.
- There is a power that can bring new things into focus
- There is a power that can revive every dead destinies.
- There is a power that can go down into a man's foundation and make him whole.

That mysterious power is what the Bible calls, "THE POWER OF RESURRECTION"
• There is no power anywhere that can defeat the power of resurrection.
• There is no power anywhere that can chain the power of resurrection.
• There is no power anywhere that can embarrassed the power of resurrection.
This mysterious power of resurrection is what many believers don't know how to
revoke.

• After 30 years of apostle Paul's
conversion; a man who has visited heaven 3 times is now praying this prayer. He's now writing this particular prayer point in
Philippians 3:10.

"That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" Phil. 3:10
===> Your testimonies will give birth to other testimonies, in Jesus' name.
===> Anything good, the enemy has killed in your life, receive the resurrection power in the blood of Jesus.
• John 1:1-3 is talking about the creative and resurrection power of the Lord.
===> Whether it is a dead business, marriage, school, body, etc receive resurrection power in the name of Jesus.

Colo. 1:16
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and
invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"
===> Whether visible or invisible, whether in heavens or on earth, whatever is suppose to be yours that is dead, receive the resurrection power, in the name of Jesus.
• The power of resurrection apply in everything; not only to life and death.

It Is The Resurrection Power That:
- can ensure our justification.
- shows that Jesus defeated death.
- unites us with Christ.
- confirms the deep truth of the scripture.
- proves that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
- gives Christians a living hope.
- that tells us that we shall be raised with Christ.
- makes us understand that we will judge
the world in the resurrection of Jesus.
- conquers death for us.
- is the foundation of the gospel.
PRAY: I plug my life into the resurrection power, in the name of Jesus.

It is that resurrection power that:
- can make all things to exist.
- breathe the breath of life into you.
- raises those physical and spiritual death.
- make any killer disease to die.
- makes handkerchieves, sweats and materials to possess the power of God.

What is the most powerful weapon?
- Is it the power of electricity? NO!
- Is it the nuclear...? NO!
- Is it power of the wave? NO!
- Is it the power of the wind? NO!

• It is the POWER OF RESURRECTION followed by the VOICE OF RESURRECTION.
√ You need to connect to the resurrection power of Jesus. To connect, you must:
1. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ.
2. Repent from all known sins.
3. Learn how to control and tame your tongue.
4. Have violent faith.
5. Participate in the leading prayers.
NOT AN ORDINARY PRAYERS:
because there are specific angels assigned to each of these prayers.

[Before Ministration]
1. Any dead person, that is tying me down, release me now, in the name of Jesus.
2. Garment of nakedness and shame, I am not your candidate, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Finger of the wicked, come out of my body now, in the name of Jesus
4. Curses from the head of my mother, curses from the head of my father, I am not your candidate, die in the name of Jesus
5. Powers, determined to make me cry, your time is up, die in the name of Jesus.
6. Powers expanding my battles, today, die in the name of Jesus
7. Holy Ghost, arise, deliver me from satanic detention, in the name of Jesus.

[After Ministration]
1.Thou power, of resurrection, incubate my life, in the name of Jesus
2. Wind of resurrection, blow upon my dry bones, in the name of Jesus
3. I plug my life, int

Increase In Tuition Fee By UNILAG

UNILAG
No fewer than 38 universities across the country have increased their tuition fees as a result of poor funding by the Federal and State governments.

The Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Ibadan Chapter, Dr Deji Omole, made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Monday.

The statement which assessed the two years of President Muhammadu Buhari in office lamented that the current government had made Nigerians poorer.

Omole said that the public education was not taken seriously because most children of the rich and those in high offices do not attend school in Nigeria.

"The latest increment might be attributed to poor funding by the federal and state governments as ASUU poorly rated the President Muhammadu Buhari in the area of funding of university education.

Be careful whenever you are online... Do Not share too much information online. Do not expose yourself to criminals

Your entire life could be online and it might be used against you. Criminals could try to harm you with the personal information you share online or on your social media handles.

Don't post sensitive personal information online.

Always ensure that the photographs you share online do not reveal sensitive personal information about you or your loved ones. – From Guaranty Trust Bank

ADDENDUM:

To those who waste their time, revealing their privacy unnecessarily to boost their ego, while they gain nothing and are paid nothing for it.

Do you think those who comment on your posts really care about you or your family? NEVER! Those comments are bogus love that quickly fail when put to tests.

I prefer to keep my mouth shut online, and demonstrate real, tangible commitment to the persons I love in reality.

Some are actually stalking you, monitoring your activities, to use against you. Why do you reveal details of your innocent kids to those you can never welcome into your house? You might as well post their pics in physical public places.

Exhibiting fake life online only reveals your vulnerability, rather than your strength. Vainglory brings more harm than good. Don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.

Whether you're really what claim or you're pretending to be what you're not; very few people really care.

Really successful people jealously and desperately protect their privacy. If you're really an achiever, you don't need to blow any trumpet for yourself. Let others do that.

*True situational Analysis of Life.*

After Secondary School..
Some of our classmates have gone out of the country,

Others have completed universities and are now
Doctors,
Engineers,
Teachers,
Pilots,
Lawyers,
Administrators, etc.

Some have married,
Some have given birth.. .
Some are dead,
(Don't forget that too)

And others are confined in psychiatric homes.
Some are doing their masters programme, PHD, etc.

Some haven't even gained admission into the tertiary institution.

Some own companies,
Some are now Directors and majority shareholders of huge companies.

But how do you feel
When you meet your classmate, and it seems like/she has reached his dreams
And you're not yet close to yours?
So many thoughts run through your mind.

How about the one you meet on the street wearing dirty rags and feeds on the refuse dumps and drinks from the gutters?

Do you get the same thoughts running through your mind?

First God has not been fair to you.
But don't forget some are also dead.
Somehow feels like jealousy, its a normal feeling.

But, You must not regret your life.
We all are different
And our path to greatness
Is not same in distance.

Some might reach before you,
Some might reach
after you
But wherever level you are presently,
Please keep trying to break limitations and move further.

Celebrate the success of others, its an application
for yours.

Your friend buys a car now,
Be happy with him/ her. Remember when you get yours,
Theirs might not be the latest again.

Life is not by competition,
If not,
We all will be born into one type of family,
One religion and same in everything.

Let the passion in you never quench the desire in you
Keep it burning.

What you pass through,
Write it down because one day the world would be ready to read it.

There's no height you cannot attain,
Just believe.
Define goals and recognize distractions.

Spend time teaching yourself,
Because the things that
Mainly take people to the top
Are the things
They devoted time to develop.

Don't be intimidated by your fellow's success,
The sky is too wide
That the birds can fly
Without touching themselves.

Value the small things
That God brings
And comes into our lives
And love God
And do the work of God.
For with God,
All things are possible.

Now to those who are on top,
Never forget to give a helping hand
To those who are down.
Life is full of uncertainties;
The one you pull up today
May be the one to hold your hand
To prevent you from falling down.
A piece of advice there.

May our friendship grow
From strength to strength,
From grass to grace,
From zero to hero
And from Earth to Heaven.

_I WISH YOU MORE SUCCESS
IN THE JOURNEY OF LIFE_

*I love you*

Five friends from Santa Barbara High School have been taking the same photo in the same pose on the same cabin bench every five years for the past 35 years since they took the first one in 1982. See photos after cut...

Their photo streak started in 1982 when the friends, who were about 19 headed to a cabin that Wardlaw's grandpa built and took their first photo.

The friends John "Wedge" Wardlaw, Mark Rumer-Cleary, Dallas Burney, John Molony and John Dickson recently gazed at the camera of Copco Lake on the California-Oregon border to capture their eighth entry into the photo collection.

THEME: BORN INTO CAPTIVITY?

Memorise:

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8

Read: Exodus 1:8-12

1:8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

1:9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:

1:10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

1:11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

1:12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.

MESSAGE

While some people fall into captivity through traps set by the tempter, some others, like Joseph, are sold into slavery (Genesis 37:23-28). In some parts of Africa, when a child is born, both parents of that child or either one of them enter into a covenant involving that child and some deity or spirit-wife or husband. Such a child later grows up to find that he or she has been sold into slavery. There are many childless couples who go to some deities for help, because they can no longer wait on God to give them good children. This opens the door to satanic offsprings in their life. Later in life, such demonic children will become devourers of their resources and peace. May you never be so frustrated as to go to the devil for help! Satan's ''help'' is to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).

Moreover, in today's Bible reading, we understand that some people enter into slavery right from birth. When a pharaoh that did not know Joseph arose in Egypt and enacted new laws that made the Israelites slaves, every child that was born to them from that moment was born into slavery. In whatever way you have found yourself in captivity, whether by choice, design or by birth, there is deliverance for you today. The Great Deliverer is able and willing to deliver you. 1 John 3:8 says Jesus Christ was manifested in order to destroy the works of the devil. Captivity is the work of the devil, and he seeks to control and ruin lives by it. The predator runs the lives of his captives. When he wants, he whips them, pushes them into difficulties and mocks them while they struggle. He dictates what they become and where they will end. The fellow in captivity has virtually lost control over his or her life. You cannot be a captive and at the same time be free to serve God the way you want. One of the reasons why Jesus Christ came into this world was to make us free to serve God. Contained in the prophecy of Zacharias about the Lord Jesus Christ is this statement about His mission, in Luke 1:74-75:
''That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.''

This is why you have to arise in anger today and rebel against any form of captivity you have found yourself in, and ask Jesus Christ to deliver you now. You shall be free today!

Prayer Point:

In any way I and members of my family have found ourselves in captivity, we rebel and break away from it today!

HYMN 4: THROUGH THE LOVE OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR

1. Through the love of God, our Saviour,
All will be well;
Free and changeless is His favour,
All will be well;
Precious is the blood that healed us,
Perfect is the grace that sealed us,
Strong the hand stretched out to shield us,
All will be well.

2. Though we pass through tribulation,
All will be well;
Ours is such a full salvation,
All will be well.
Happy when in God confiding,
Fruitful if in Christ abiding,
Holy through the Spirit's guiding,
All will be well.

3. We expect a bright tomorrow;
All will be well;
Faith can sing through days of sorrow,
All will be well;
On our Father's love relying,
Jesus every need supplying
In our living, in our dying,
All will be well.

"What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul."

Diary of a Pastor's Wife

Diary Of A Pastor's Wife (Concluding Part)

I felt a sudden urge to smile through my tears. Romance is such a wonderful thing.

We were in America and it was Autumn, and the trees had grown antlers. David had given the kids and I a surprise holiday trip.

I stood by the window, admiring David and the girls playing basket ball on the small field. The Vacation house was striking, specially built for a family vacation.
I walked over the balcony and caught my breath. I gaze upon a sweeping lawn, then spotted a tempting path that led past a tinkling fountain. Oak, hickory, and dogwood trees vied for space in the huge area. I imagined how beautiful the grounds would be in spring when the dogwoods were in bloom.

Moments later, after he made the kids to sleep, he was right behind me. He held me backwardly and held my face with his hands. His glance blazed down at me.

"Thank you for having me back my love."
He whispered.

For a long, unsettling moment I sensed him grow still, and his gaze seemed to excavate deep inside my soul.

"mom announced yesterday that she doesn't wanna be bishop anymore." He said looking directly into my eyes.

"How did you hear that?"

"The archbishop Desmond Delaney informed me yesterday, that he just got the resignation letter."

"she would give her life to Christ fully now." I thought aloud.

"She is making a public confession at the church head branch on Sunday, we won't be there."

"She is still your mother. You grew under her shadows, you still have to take care of her and be by her side, especially now." My voice broke into a whisper.

His lips formed a smile, he brought down his head and kissed my big tummy.

How I survived without the utterly necessary intimacy with my husband over these days haunted me.

"I have longed for your touch." I said, pushing myself to him.

"And do you know how long I have wanted this special moment?" he responded, his rich voice threaded with unconstrained passion.

He emitted a harsh voiced groan and kissed me hard, so hard that my teeth and lips connected roughly with his.

He became gentle when he remembered I was pregnant. His wide eyes were on my stomach. His hunger for me reached out for me and filled the wild, empty spaces in my own longing, so when he took me, penetrating deep thrust, everything inside of me softened willingly. It had always been like this, until the day Ifeoma came into our lives. But things were about to get even better.

Kissing my tears away, he drove hard into my body and fell against me after a while. our bodies were lightly sheened with sweat. As the erotic scent of vanilla and strawberry on our skin mingled.

I wrapped myself in his arms and willed my tears of hurts away. Instead of dwelling in the past, I held on the precious moments like an unexpected matchless gift, and nobody would take that away from me.

We visited our new church in Houston and there was joy in our hearts as David stood on the podium. It was the beginning of a new chapter in our lives, God made this book beautiful.

THE END.

Our heavenly father

Our heavenly Father is the giver of every good gift. His mercies are vast, powerful, and real. His love has the ability to completely overwhelm and satisfy every one of our needs. Everything he gives us satisfies, transforms, and leads us to abundant life. As we spend this week stirring up our affections toward God, allow your heart to become soft and open. Allow his loving character to draw you close and provide life to every dry and weary place in your soul. Have a wonderful week, and may God bless the work of your hands.
