Making the most of opportunities

*Making the Most of Opportunities - 1!*

*Ephesians 5:16*
*"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." (KJV)*
*"Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days." (NLT)*

'A rich man had four sons. As he grew old, he decided to give his property to the son who would value the wealth he had earned. He called his four sons and gave each of them, five grains of rice. He told them that he would ask for the grains at the end of 5 years & he would give his property to the son who would value the grains the most.

The first son threw away the grains. He decided to show his father some other grains when he would ask for them after 5 years, in anticipation that his father would not be able to see the difference between the two sets of grains.

The second son ate the grains. He too decided to show his father some other grains when he would ask for them after 5 years, in anticipation that his father would not be able to notice the difference between them.

The third son preserved the grains in a silver box, kept the box at home, and offered prayers to the box whenever he was offering his prayers to God for 5 years.

The fourth son sowed the grains and cultivated them in the backyard of his house. They grew into crops during the harvest season. He kept re-sowing the grains from the crops. In due course, he had a vast plot of land cultivated with rice.

At the end of the 5 years, the father called his four sons and gave his property to the fourth, because he was the most deserving among his four sons.'

Beloved, opportunities present themselves to us on a daily basis for those who are sensitive enough to grab them.

When you have any little thing in your hands, look for the opportunity to grow it. Don't feel sad if you have less today, know that you have it and you can grow it.

*Opportunities are like sunrises. If you wait too long, you miss them. Opportunities are usually in disguise, so most people don't recognize them. Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great, because only weak men wait for opportunities; but strong men make them.*

*To succeed this month and beyond, recognize and jump at opportunities.*

It's your season, opportunities are all around you for your lifting, breakthroughs, and change of levels, make the most of them!

Happy New Month once again and enjoy the best of today.

*Jesus is Lord!*
