The Need For Teachers To Be Smart

This issue of teachers resigning from schools reminds me of my experience in 2013 when I resigned from teaching in a primary school to teach in a secondary school. When the pupils I was teaching resumed for a new term and met another teacher, they started crying. Some of them told their parents they were no longer going to school. Their parents called me. I went from house to house talking to those kids on why they need to go to school. I gave them reason to see the school beyond their teacher. I talked to them on why they need to love the new teacher. I told their parents to encourage them to love the new teacher. I helped them with their assignments. I checked on them from time to time.
