Lagos State Adjusted School Calendar for the 2018 /2019 Academic Year

*CHANGE OF DATE FOR MID-TERM BREAK.*

Due to the upcoming Presidential and Gubernatorial elections to be held in all parts of Nigeria. A meeting was convened to decide the changes in the mid term break.

At the meeting with the Ministry of  Education today it was agreed that schools will have 2 “half term breaks” to cover both the presidential and gubernatorial elections:
1. First break from *February 13th - February 18th.* Classes resume on *Tuesday, February 19th.* Boarders return on the evening of *February 18th.*

2. Second “half-term break” from *February 28th - March 4th.* Classes resume on *Tuesday, March 5th.* Boarders return on the evening of *March 4th.*

World Book Day to be observed on *Thursday, March 7th.*
